Some games are clearly not worth this price to begin with, if there was immense amounts of content and additions (patches + mods + add-ons) designed by the developers of these games, then perhaps they are worth the sticker they carry upon release.

One example - MOA - Airbourne, thank goodness I did not buy it when it initially came out, as there was only a good 10hours of gameplay. 10hoours does not equal $90. The Sims is another example of treating the consumer as an idiot (I buy the originals, but never the expansions, I bought The Sims 3 today).

Re: 10 Most Pirated Games of 2008 !

The funny thing is that if you download DRM protected games, you won't have any trouble with the DRM because it's been taken out. It's ironic really.

But no the list does not surprise me. Prices of games have been getting higher and higher lately and some games are simply not worth 60 euro. Spore was a highly anticipated game but turned out to be quiet boring in the end. I played through it once and I don't think I'll play through it again any time soon. It was a collosal waste of money for me.

The Sims is just to expensive to keep buying the expansions. Twelve expansions times 25 euro. You do the math. Gaming companies should take a look at themselves and see what they are doing wrong. Not every game is equaly worth it's money.
